Artwork Requirements

File Formats
Mac or PC files are accepted.
Note: PC file formats will be converted to MAC prior to output.
Recommended Applications
Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Quark Xpress, Macromedia Freehand, Adobe Pagemaker or Corel Draw.
Fonts
Include fonts when submitting files. Mac fonts should include both screen and printer fonts.
Colors
Match proofs are provided to ensure color accuracy. For exact ink matches, Gold Coast recommends a “PMS Draw Down” to ensure the accuracy of ink color at press.
Imported graphics/images
Please include separate files for any “placed” or “imported” graphic elements when submitting your artwork for printing.
File submission methods
Gold Coast accepts files via e-mail, FTP, CD, and diskette. All file submissions should include details on who is expecting your file and how they can reach you.
E-mail: Include artwork as an attachment using compressed-self extracting “ZIPit” or “Stuffit. Attachments over 10 MB are not recommended.
Disks: Include an approved color laser proof with your file. Please include a return mailing address if you would like your diskette to be returned.
Proofs
Gold Coast recommends a calibrated Match proof as a representation of the true digital color in your file. Proofs are available in the following forms: Press proof and e-mailed PDF file.
